Project meeting in Croatia 18 – 22 May 2022
When we arrived in Pazin, we met our host students and drove home with them.
The next morning we met early in the morning at the Croatian school. There we were warmly welcomed by the headmistress, explored the school and got to see some of the talented students. They sang for us and read a text that was presented with many emotions.
After that we visited the deputy mayor of Pazin, who told us about the history and tourism of the city.
Next we got a city tour and saw different sights of Pazin.
On the second day we took part in the lessons of the host students. We had project workshops where we worked in mixed international groups on different projects such as building insect houses or making cosmetics ourselves from natural products.
We also hiked through Pazin and visited a cave.
We were allowed to use the afternoon freely, with some going to the sea and others shopping or in the city.
On Saturday we went to the coastal town of Opatija and went swimming in the sea and toured the town. Then we drove to the smallest town in Croatia and visited a museum there.
The good times were over far too quickly before we went back home on Sunday.
